My name is Gardenia Rosario, better known as “Gigi” and I am an artist and a headwear enthusiast based in New York city. I am passionate about unconventional materials, textures, and the history behind each.
I am also nester, a collector, and I like to give a new life to previously discarded objects. I am obsess with transformation especially when it lays on the the body to “adorn” or “embellish”.
Jewelry and headwear have always been my passion. A factor that is very distinctive of my work is the emphasis on the embellishment of women, their head and hair in particular. I have a passion for the female upper body and head pieces with “crown-like” quality and jewelry are empowering to me.
